John Vermeesch

John combines entrepreneurial and corporate experience with 25 years of leading organizations to expertly craft strategic vision and translate it into success through organizational culture and leadership coaching.
In the Army, he served as an infantry officer, leading and training soldiers stateside and abroad. He has had the privilege of leading “America’s sons and daughters” in combat during Operations Desert Storm, Iraqi Freedom and New Dawn. Most recently, he commanded a 900+ person organization in Baghdad to deliver security, economic development, and essential services to over three million people. His final assignment, as a Colonel, was as the Director of an Army-wide Center of Excellence focused on ethical and character development.
In the private sector, John has led both high touch 1-on-1 coaching as well as senior executive leadership facilitation. He has served as an executive coach to dozens of leaders at early stage, high growth organizations. His leadership development programs have reached thousands of individuals.
John is an avid sports fan and outdoorsman, father of four, and husband.
